Choose a More Positive Mindset | Christian Wellness
We can't always choose our circumstances, but we can choose how we respond to them. A positive mindset doesn't ignore life's difficulties—it helps us face them with hope, resilience, and confidence.
I was working with a gentleman a while back whose main issue was to become more positive. He believes his negativity has colored most of his life – and he’s right! The good news is that, with practice and the right tools, we can all become more positive!
Tips
• Notice what you're thinking.
• Replace negative self-talk with encouraging truth.
• Practice gratitude every day.
• Focus on what you can control.
• Look for solutions instead of dwelling on problems.
• Spend time with positive, encouraging people.

Did You Know?
Research links optimism with well-being and some measures of physical health, and studies suggest that specific exercises can help people build optimism.
Fortunately, optimism isn't something we're simply born with—it can be learned and strengthened over time.
Encouragement
Being positive doesn't mean pretending life is easy. It means believing that, with God's help, you can face today's challenges and take the next step forward.
If you’d like extra support creating healthier habits, I work with clients online as well as in person. Information is on my website.
Remember: Every healthy choice you make is an investment in your future self.
